Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent work experience
• Strong understanding of database theory with applicable experience
• API design experience
• Excellent debugging, analytical and communication skills

Pluses:

• JVM tuning experience
• Understanding of machine learning concepts, namely in the area of unsupervised learning
• Data mining experience
• Experience using AWS for production systems
• Actively contribute to open-source software

 This person will join the team that deploys, customizes and supports our clients on the Giveo platform.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have deployed LAMP content management systems from end to end, including Web server and database configuration, platform installation, template/plugin customization, and DNS configuration. We think your resume should look like this:

• Experience with the LAMP Stack, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (think WordPress) and marketing tools (think MailChimp)
• Experience working for a high growth SaaS company
• Amazon AWS / EC2 and Git experience are all pluses
• Knowledge of online B2C marketing tactics, landscape and data
