Ed Messman
Founder / CEO
For the last 15 years Ed has been involved with hundreds of technology companies through his work with some of the leading financial institutions providing capital to growing startups. Most recently Ed served as VP of Corporate Development, Operations and Finance at Hivelive, an early entrant into the Enterprise Social Software market. There he helped to lead the organization’s growth and ultimately orchestrated its acquisition to Rightnow Technologies (Nasdaq: RNOW) in October 2009. It was through the Hivelive experience of watching forward thinking brands connect and engage with their audience that Giveo was formed. Ed is thrilled to connect his background and experience to the new frontier of digital marketing.
He earned an MBA from University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in International Business from Grand Canyon University. He stays active with his wife and three children in Boulder.
JP Lind
Founder / SVP Business Development
JP has spent the past 14 years working at some of the world’s largest and most successful data driven marketing companies building and managing high growth verticals. Most recently he served as Vice President at Epsilon Targeting (ADS) where he led record revenue growth delivering data and analytic solutions for Publishers and Nonprofits. Previously JP led business development efforts forging relationships with hundreds of innovative multi-channel retail and online brands through his career at Epsilon (ADS), Dotomi (VCLK) and DoubleClick (GOOG). JP has a passion for innovation and creativity to drive high ROI and strategic results for the markets and clients he serves.
JP graduated from the University of Vermont, studied in Christchurch New Zealand and attended Denver University’s High Performance Leadership Program at Daniels College of Business. JP currently lives in Boulder with his wife and 2 kids and spends time cycling, running and snowboarding in his free time
Peter Genuardi
VP Product and Strategy
Peter has spent more than 12 years helping digital marketers achieve success. At Giveo Peter leads the development of the Giveo solution as well as the services that help Giveo clients discover their audience and make better marketing decisions.
Before Giveo, Peter worked for some of the Nation’s leading marketers. At Convio, Peter helped develop the Web presence for over one hundred campaigns and organizations like Human Rights Campaign, National Resource Defense Council and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. At Merkle, a data driven direct marketing agency, Peter created the technical solutions to support direct marketing programs for National Wildlife Federation, Clorox, and Bluestem Brands. Most recently, Peter ran Soapbxx, a digital agency for mission-driven marketers.
Peter has a BA in Political Science from New York University and a MA in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University. When he’s not marketing, he’s spending time with his family, playing the banjo, and running in the Colorado foothills.
